Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up to receive press releases from the journals published by Nature Research?

The Nature Research press site provides access for journalists to our press releases, scientific papers and any additional information, such as accompanying multimedia and commentaries. Please complete the registration form on our registration page. As part of the registration process, you will also be asked to send the following confirmation of your status as a journalist to press@nature.com:

1. Three clippings of relevant work published in the last six months. The clippings must be by-lined and dated and should clearly display the name of the publication. E-mailed links to online clippings are acceptable, so long as they are easily accessible without any registration procedures.

2. An e-mail confirming your status as a journalist. If you are a staff journalist, this must be from your manager and from a company email address. If you are a freelance journalist, this must be from an editor at an outlet that you write for and from a company email address.
